6 hours of painting + 4 days of prep = GOOSEBERRIES BOOTH at the EAGLE ROCK MUSIC FEST!  Woo! $5 portraits to benefit the Center for the Arts, Eagle Rock, tons of prints including a huge mystery box of proof prints from back when I shot with film — yup; photos of the Shins and Rogue Wave and Supergrass and Spoon and Snow Patrol and Nada Surf and Fiery Furnaces and Silversun Pickups and Ben Folds and Lavender Diamond and Death Cab for Cutie and Irving and goodness knows what else from 2000 - 2006. I’m across from the Emerging Stage, in the lot next to Oinkster.  Come say hi!

Okay, if your band was called The Flying Tourbillon Orchestra, wouldn’t you want to hang out on an antique baby grand in the parlour of an old Victorian? Topwise from clock: Daniel (every time I meet him, for some reason, I’m terrified that I’m going to call him Damon — and I don’t even know a Damon!  I refrain from addressing him by his name so often, I think he might suspect I don’t know it.  Note to self: remedy situation before FTO’s show at the Echoplex in August, or just start handing him beers and whilst introducing him as “Damon” to weathy patrons and loose women), Sara (just google Sara Radle sometime to see how adorably awesome she is), Hunter (wears Kheuls and smells like rad), Aaron, Adam, and Ethan.
